"The Quarry Cafe at the National Stone Centre is an absolute gem and a firm favourite with our cycling club. Every time we visit, the team goes out of their way to accommodate our often large group with a warm welcome, fantastic service, and great food.
Whether it's a coffee and cake stop or a well-earned breakfast after a long ride, the quality is always excellent, and nothing ever seems too much trouble. The location is perfect for cyclists, with plenty of space and beautiful surroundings, making it one of our favourite ride destinations.
A huge thank you to everyone at the cafe for always looking after us, we can't recommend it highly enough."

"Thank you so much for the warm welcome today when our u3a group came for lunch after our walk. As walk leader I appreciated your clear email communication in the run up to the day. Being in the marquee meant that our group of 12 could all sit together and continue our conversations. Your staff were all lovely and did everything they could to make our visit as pleasant as possible, and of course, most importantly, we enjoyed our lunches.
We hope to visit you again when we're in the area on a future walk."

"The marquee at the National Stone Centre was a useful and practical indoor space from which to base my puppy and dog training classes throughout the summer months.
We also made the most of the beautiful surrounding outdoor spaces whenever possible. Bookings were easy to make and communication was clear and prompt. I would definitely consider booking again next year once the evenings are lighter again."

“Following a lovely walk along the High Peak Trail, from The National Stone Centre to the Sheep Pasture Incline and back (3 miles), our walking group received a most warm welcome from the lovely staff at the Stone Centre Cafe. We were all in need of refreshments. Half of the group had climbed up through the woods to the top of the Black Rocks. Not for the faint hearted. The attentive staff quickly worked through our orders for drinks and delicious cakes and delivered them to us individually. Tables had previously been reserved for our large party of 23 and it made an extremely pleasant end to our Monday afternoon walk. Our group also enjoyed the exhibition area and shop within the cafe. The walk and cafe stop to see Martin and the team will definitely be in our diary for next year.”
