Courses for beginners and improvers wanting to learn about the stone, tools and techniques used for carving stone.
Taught by one of Derbyshire's foremost stone masons, Mark Eaton will guide you through the process of stone selection, choice and use of tools as well as basic carving techniques.
You can bring your own project ideas or Mark will help you choose one. The piece of work that you will produce will be yours to take home.
Materials, tools and gloves are provided however we suggest you bring your own safety glasses. We can provide safety glasses at £10 a pair.

Circumstances may arise whereby, due to reasons beyond our control, a part or the whole of a course must be postponed or cancelled. Where possible notice will be given. If a course is cancelled you will be offered an alternative date, valid within 12 months. We do not offer refunds to attendees who cancel within 4 weeks of a course date. An administration fee of £25 will be deducted from any refund given.
