|The National Stone Centre welcomes groups of all kinds – whether you are interested in geology, paleontology, natural history, ecology or industrial archaeology, we have something for everyone. U3A groups and geological societies are particularly welcome.|
Employees from MPQC and the Institiute of Quarrying dropped by for a visit.
Spending the day at the site they had guided tours and participated in the activities on site.
All group leaders, whether taking part in NSC activities or supervising their own groups, must complete a Health and Safety Statement. Group leaders must contact us before the visit, and the Health and Safety Statement must be signed and returned to us before the group visit takes place.
Groups not requiring a guide are asked to make a reasonable donation towards the maintenance of the site – please contact us for further information.
