Treasure in the Rocks Day Events Activities at the National Stone Centre: Gem Panning, Rocks and Minerals, Fossil Casting, Fossil Rubbing and Soil Study

The Treasure in the Rocks days offer several short "taster" sessions that include a guided trail, rocks and minerals, fossil casting, the exhibition, gem panning and the shop and take place on Wednesdays during term time (dates listed below). See more on these activities>>

These events are very popular and often involve large numbers of children, so it is important that groups arrive promptly and keep to the schedule they are given on the day. Each party of children should be divided into groups of no more than 25, with an appropriate number of adults accompanying each group. How to book taster sessions>>
